The residents and team of Parklands Manor celebrated Time for a Cuppa this year by raising money for Dementia UK.
Delicious cakes were made by the Head Chef and his team, the activities team also organised a creative raffle, which included a sponge cake in the design of a tea cosy, lovingly homemade knitted tea cosies full of shortbread biscuits, a bottle of prosecco.
The residents and team spent the afternoon drinking tea, eating cake and dancing. The grand finale was a tea cosy competition, which the team entered into with great enthusiasm.
There were some amazing designs and originality for which each one should have won, but in the end the housekeeping team won overall.
The afternoon raised £103 for Dementia UK.
