Coombe Hill Manor had their annual Christmas Fayre, on 25th November, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The day was busy with the ground floor packed with stalls and a selection of refreshments. We also had our friend, Patricia Hodge, turn on our Christmas tree lights, which set the morning off beautifully.
Two of the ten stalls were selling items made by the residents. One of our residents is an expert knitter and makes her own baby clothes which she sells here throughout the year.
To round off the afternoon we had the fabulous Libby Asher and friends catapult us into festive cheer with a selection of light hearted songs and good humour.
We are very grateful to all the stall holders and residents who made this day a huge success.
We have raised around £500. A special mention to Anne Conquest, Activities Assistant, for her dedication and hard work.
