Trip to Up Park House

The 18th century stately home is set in the idyllic hills of the countryside providing residents with breath taking views.

Upon arriving at the house the activities team helped the eager  residents explore the stunning gardens.  From thistles to pansies, the garden was packed full of colour. The residents had nothing but admiration for the work of the very talented head garden of the house Andy Lewis, as one of the residents remarked 'Andy has done a fantastic job of the gardens, they have character and charm' she said  'and I for one can’t wait to come back and have a look at Christmas'.

Following their leisurely stroll around the gardens, residents warmed up inside the home where they found the original interior preserved in all its glory. The residents found the home fascinating with four poster beds adorning the bedrooms, an original dolls house tucked in the play room and  servants quarters nestled in tunnels.

After a fantastic trip residents got back on the Signature mini bus and home in time for dinner where residents talked about their day.
