My husband and I have lived here for almost three years. My husbands health began to fail in the summer and he died here in mid September. The care he received from the staff and regular visiting Doctor and the love and support we both received could not have been better.June L
I am very happy to have found the Miramar. It is wonderful to be somewhere where they look after you so well and the staff really do care. It's also pet friendly and my little dog came with me. Miramar ticks all the boxes from me.Sylvia M
I would highly recommend the Miramar, it is a lovely community to live in. Friendly staff, good care, good food and lots of activities. The grounds are lovely and we are right by the sea. I am very happy living here.Gerald F
The staff were lovely and really looked after me so well, all of them from the carers to the cleaners. So helpful. Had a nice stay. Excellent food quality and plentiful. Would recommend to my friends who are at home above. Couldn't speak highly enough of the home.Margaret P
The Miramar is my home! It is a Happy Home, and I (of very sound mind!) chose that my wife and I would spend the rest of our lives here!
I could not wish for a nicer place to live, nor a more caring staff to look after my wife and others who require help. The management team deserve plaudits for their caring leadership and the excellent training they give to their staff.
My wife and I feel most fortunate to have found this "Home", which we now call our own!John L
Everything is lovely, I had no problems whatsoever and the staff are all exceptionally helpful. The food is very good and there is plenty going on. I have been very comfortable during my stay and I will definitely come back again as well as recommending Miramar to all my friends.Joan M
I stayed here for 1 month on respite, and cannot fault it. It is amazing and you would go a long way to find a care home as satisfactory as the Miramar.Bert L
Everything was excellent - no complaint!?
Would come back! - maybe October.
Amazing time and good friends made.
Didn't get welcome pack at arrival but got flowers!Nancy N
I have been a resident for seven months needing as little care as possible, although I appreciate I am deteriorating weekly. I enjoy the activities and outings very much. The food is excellent although I feel there is rather too much cakes, biscuits, ice-cream etc, but that is just me and I know it is very much appreciated by others. I am very content to spend the rest of my days here if I can afford it.Dorothy S
Our stay at the Miramar has been a great experience. Lovely food, lovely gardens and the staff are all very helpful and wonderful. We have enjoyed the company of new friends that we have met at the Miramar.Mr D B
I will have spent 5 weeks at the Miramar. I have been carefully monitored and all members of staff are extremely dedicated and my poor health has greatly improved. The activities team encouraged me to join in with other residents and the management allowed me to organise a charity quiz for Children in Need. This gave me great pleasure. My accommodation was excellent and I would strongly recommend The Miramar as a place to stay.John L
The home is very well furnished and comfortable, always spotlessly clean.
The restaurant provides a very varied menu, with a wide choice for each course, well cooked and well presented. (A pleasant minor 'plus' is the fabric table napkins, a clean one for each meal). The staff attitude is excellent and friendly, and I was impressed by the second day of my visit, all those I met already knew my name.
The activities are varied, with three activities every day and the carers bring more handicapped residents along and stay with them to encourage them to take part.
My one quibble is the housekeeping: I had to ask for towels, hot water maintenance, bed making - minor irritations that can become important. I have had a good stay and will return.Patricia W
