On Wednesday 25th January residents enjoyed a feast fit for Robert Burns!
We commenced with the traditional Selkirk Grace given by Tom Rosser, and proceeded to piping in the haggis and the address given by Ted Brown. Following the main course, residents Will Briggs, David North and Poppy Galloway recited poems by Robert Burns.
After the dessert of tipsy laird (sherry trifle) we linked arms and sang Auld Lang Syne to finish our celebratory lunch.
Over 60 residents sat down to enjoy this traditional Scottish meal, in the decorated restaurant.
