Environmental Health unannounced check at Loxley Park care community

The Loxley Park catering team have also been presented with the Sheffield Healthy Choices award. The judges were really impressed with the members green house and vegetable garden which supplies the kitchen with organic homegrown produce. 

Robin Thompson, Loxley Park's catering manager, applied for Sheffield's Healthy Choices Award. This award recognises caterers who demonstrate their commitment to customer care through the provision of a healthier environment and healthier food choices.

The Healthy Food Choices Award runs in partnership with Sheffield City Council and the Primary Care Trust.

Meanwhile, Robin's team has all enrolled with a local training provider with a view to gaining their NVQ level 2 in food service.
