Kent care home enjoys a busy few months

Residents at Miramar care home, Kent, have been busy over the last few months, enjoying outings, fun days and fundraisers.

August - Our Summer Fete was opened by Herne Bay Carnival court, and featured many stalls, a tombola, a raffle, jewellery stalls and plants. Children were entertained by Pip the Clown.

September - We handed over a £1000 cheque to Canterbury Pilgrim’s Hospice from funds raised at our successful Fete in August.

October - Halloween Party was enjoyed by members and residents, who dressed up as Wizards & Witches and enjoyed games and music from Derek.

November - Members and residents were entertained by a 30 minute firework display.

Elsewhere, members from our Cypress Suite (dementia unit) enjoyed a day out at Manston War Museum, and ticked into a fish and chip lunch by the sea.
