Miramar care home residents out and about

Tuesday, May 26 - Seven residents enjoyed a country minibus tour to the garden centre.

Wednesday. May 27 - Staff and residents were treated by Elvis impersonator Chris Field, who took everyone back to the 1960s with his musical skills and suede shoes.

Friday, May 29 - Birthday celebrations were held for two residents. Everyone enjoyed sandwiches, trifle and birthday cake, before spending the fun afternoon being entertained by Terry and Lynn and their music, dancing and singing.

Saturday, May 30 - A Chinese themed evening was attended by 23 members, who enjoyed Chinese delicacies and decorations.

Monday, June 1 - Twenty-nine residents were enthralled by harpist Margaret Watson's gold-embossed harp and angelic tones.

Monday, June 1 - Some residents joined Age Concern's woodland walk, which ran from Signature Miramar, along the coastal path, through the local woods and back Signature Miramar.
